# 1.3 Digital Points

Digital points are utilized to offset processing costs, including those associated with drone mapping. In 3D reconstruction, approximately 0.4 digital points are required to process a photo, regardless of its pixel count.

* The 800 digital points awarded per account will not expire.
* Purchased Digital Points are valid for one year and will be automatically cleared after this period.
* 3D Rebuild will prioritize the use of Digital Points that are nearing expiration.
