When starting a new project, you can create a single-origin project using OSGB and OBJ data or simultaneously load multiple OSGB and OBJ data to create a multi-origin project.
Project Name: User Custom.
Project Path: User Custom.
OSGB Path: Include the tile data file and metadata.xml.
OBJ Path: Include the tile data file and metadata.xml.
Note: The project cannot edit the model without the OBJ data, which can only use the color adjustment and measurement function. The offset and coordinate system of OSGB and OBJ should be consistent.
Get3D Viewer provides free model format conversion function.
This is an optional feature. Use the spatial framework file exported from Get3D Mapper, in .json format. If anomalies occur in the estimated tile size, setting a spatial framework is required. Otherwise, it may affect the operation of water surface refinement, road flatten, specified flatten, and other functions.
There are two ways to set the spatial framework:
Upload Spatial Framework File
Manually Input Parameters
This is an optional feature. Use the AT file exported from Get3D Mapper in .xml format. The coordinate system must match with OSGB/OBJ. This is used for AT mapping.
For details, refer to section AT Mapping.
Click Browse and select AT file. The Select AT File will display the image path, image count, and the number of missing images.
Get3D ModelFun loads the project from the *.mfj file. This function is used to open a project file.
This feature lists the project file the user has recently opened and lets users quickly reopen recently used project files to improve work efficiency.
This function saves the user's changes to the current project.
Close the project in the current window.
This function is used to reset current project.
After the reset, the data is initialized as the state of the creation project. All the geometry and texture operations are reset.
This is project setting feature, used to set spatial framework and AT file.
This feature is used to backup data. The backup content is OBJ geometry processing and texture processing. If needed, click Restore to recover data.
Backup: Click to back up all tile data at this moment.
Delete: Remove a backup record.
Restore: Choose the record and the associated tiles, click Restore button to restore the tile data to the designated backup record.
Close: Close the Backup and Restore window.
There are multiple ways to select tiles to restore. If no tile is selected, the recovery is invalid and the model is not restored.
After editing the model, use this function to export OBJ/OSGB format models.
Select the exported model type and exported path.
Manually or automatically select the tiles to be exported.
Modified: Selecting all edited tiles.
Select All: Selecting all tiles.
Invert: Invert the selection of selected tiles.
Remove: Remove the selection
Click Apply to export models. Click Task to see the status of processing.
If tasks failed, click Retry Task to export again.
This function is used to close Get3D ModelFun software.
