1 License center interface adjustment
After entering the Get3D Mapper software interface for the first time, you need to obtain a license to use the software for modeling.
After version 7.0.9, both trial and official licenses are activated online or offline, and there is no separate activation interface for trial license.
Note: Once the license activated, it can't be transferred to other computer. The license is bound to machine.
There are two types of licenses: trial and official.
Trial license: After registering an account, you will automatically get a trial license, which can be activated online or offline and is valid for one month from the activation date. Trial license supports unlimited project creation within 30 days, and a single project can import 5,000 images.

Official license: An official license is obtained through purchase and can be subscribed monthly or annually. Select the available license to activate, the activated license will show the expiry time, all the functions can be used during the period, and there's no limit for image count.

Both trial and official licenses can be activated online or offline.
1.1 Online Activation
Get3D Account
Login Get3D account, you can get all the historical license information about Get3D Mapper software under that account. The available license information includes the license ID, the activation status of the ID, the valid of the license period, and the expiration date. Select available license to activate.
Log in Get3D account.

Refresh license list.
Select one license to be activated.
click Activate button to activate it.

1.2 Offline Activation
License Document Mode
The other way to activate the official licence applies when the PC is offline.
Firstly, export the machine code, and then in the personal account centre on the web side, input the machine code to get the license file. Import the license file to the software and click Activate to complete the binding of machine code and license.
Copy or Export machine code.

Open the website license center.

Select one license and click Generate.

Upload machine code and download license file.

Import license file and click Activate button.

Activated license information can be viewed in License Center.

1.3 License Information Management
For users who have already purchased the official version of the license, you can go to the official website personal center to view the complete license information and purchase history orders.
2 Camera accuracy setting
A new POS accuracy setting has been added to the aerial triangulation (AT) settings interface. In versions 7.0.8 and earlier, the default X, Y, Z accuracy was 0.1β―m. You can now adjust this based on the actual POS accuracy to improve AT accuracy.

3 Pause Photo Loading feature
A new Pause Photo Loading option is available in the mark points interface. When checking control points, you can disable photo loading to avoid system lag.

4 AT constraints
Usage: For AT results generated from non-georeferenced data (relative orientation), a new Constraints tool is available under the Edit Control Points module. This allows you to add geometric or spatial constraints by linking control points to improve accuracy, correct deviations, or ensure geometric consistency. Create tie points by manually marking the same feature on multiple photos.
Steps:
Mark at least 2 tie points.
Click Add Constraints to open the Constraints interface.

Select the constraint type.

Supported types:
Scale Constraint: Define the distance between two tie points to correct the model scale (e.g., building width, paint mark spacing).

Planar Constraint: Force three tie points to lie on the same plane and align with a chosen coordinate axis plane (e.g., level ground or vertical wall).

Orientation Constraint: Align the direction between two connection points parallel to a specified axis.

Set parameters, and click Apply to preview. Click Reset to revert to the original AT result.
When closing, you will be prompted βSave AT?β Click Yes to apply the constraint to the block, or No to discard changes.
5 Fixed 3D reconstruction issue
Resolved the issue where reconstruction tasks would fail at 79% in V7.0.8.
Failed in v7.0.8:

Succeed in v7.0.9:

6 Fixed geometry holes in low-overlap areas
Fixed geometry holes caused by low overlap areas.

Left: Before optimization, right: optimized.

7 Fixed AT failure caused by 0KB photos
Tasks now detect corrupted photos (0KB) and provide a warning instead of causing AT failure.

8 Fixed control point type loss issue
Fixed the issue where exported control point types (Full, Horizional, and Vertical) were lost.
9 Copy Reconstruction setting
The Copy Reconstruction Parameters interface now includes options to select:

Region of Interest

Tiling

More Setting

10 Default tile length optimization
RAM β₯β―64β―GB: Keep original tiling.
RAM <β―64β―GB: Tile area is scaled down proportionally.
11 AT parameters
Updated interface and defaults:

Efficiency Optimization: Off
Image Pair Filtering Strength: Medium

12 Photo group dividing
Adjusted default photo group dividing strategy in data management
Before Apply: All imported data is grouped into one block.

After Apply: New imports create a new block.
